Ampere Nexus

Introducing the all-new Nexus Ampere enters the high-end electric scooter market. Constructed on a novel platform the Nexus provides remarkable performance and an abundant feature set. There are two Nexus versions available: ST and EX. Each has a potent 4kW electric motor that when used in Power mode can push the scooter up to 93 kmph. Nonetheless the rider has a variety of modes to select from based on their requirements. While Eco mode prioritizes range with a 42 kmph limit City mode offers a balance between speed (63 kmph) and efficiency. Additional modes include Reverse for confined spaces and Limp Home for emergencies. A 3kWh LFP battery specifically selected for its thermal stability in Indias hot climate powers the Nexus. The stated range is 136 kilometers on a single charge and using a standard 15A charger a full charge takes three hours and twenty minutes. For faster charging times a 25A fast charger is an optional feature. The Nexus has a sleek contemporary design that combines soft creases and flat panels. Four fashionable colors are offered for it: Lunar White Steel Grey Indian Red and Zanskar Aqua. Comfortable riding is ensured by telescopic front forks with twin shock absorbers 12-inch alloy wheels and a new underbone chassis that offers a robust and rigid construction. A drum brake at the back and a disc brake up front are responsible for providing braking power. The ST and EX versions have different feature lists. The flagship ST model comes equipped with a stylish seven-inch TFT touchscreen display that supports Bluetooth. Calls messages and turn-by-turn navigation on the dash are among the features that riders can access by pairing their phones. Together with auto day/night mode for the screen it also has music controls. A smaller 6 ± 2-inch LCD display and fewer connectivity options are all that the EX version has to offer. With competitors including the TVS iQube Ola S1 line and the recently released Ather Rizta the Ampere Nexus enters a cutthroat market.
